Basically Sutent is an oral small molecule multi-targeted therapy drug and acts as a kinase inhibitor. Structurally, it is a malate salt of sunitinib and is expressed as C22H27FN4O2 C4H6O5 and has a molecular weight of 532.561 g/. In terms of chemical composition and nomenclature Sutent structure can be described as Butanedioic acid, hydroxy-, (2S)-, compound with N-[2-(diethylamino) ethyl]-5-[(Z)-(5-fluoro- 1,2-dihydro-2-oxo-3H-indol-3-ylidine)methyl]-2,4-dimethyl-1H-pyrrole-3-carboxamide (1:1). Physically, this medication exists as a powdery compound ranging between orange to yellow in color with a pKa of 8.95. It is soluble in acidic-aqueous systems.
